Living in a highly fragmented and disoriented era accompanied by increasing individualized personal beliefs it becomes more and more important to create locations with identity and virility, that are capable of generating collective experience through their presence and aura.
Located on the top of the hill opposite to the chapel the church, intended as a zone of extraterritoriality, is detached from the ground and accessible by ramps. The concept of lighting is defined by the diffuse horizontal light filtered by the surrounding trees and the directed vertical light coming through cone-shaped openings, creating an auratic atmosphere.
